Ok, so just setting this thing up, never really got into it before.  Looking at all the options changing the look and feel.. using other people's blogs as a guide.. I only know a couple of people with Blog's come to think of it.. Am going to have to start reading more examples of blogs.. . Will have to start doing one for our Coporate Social Responsibility committee in work...

So the fitness thing.. was due in the gym tonight but did not get to go, got stuck in work instead.. its funny why really..... one of the questions in the Grade 1 Examview assessment cd we released was found to have an "inappropriate" answer choice... give you 3 guesses as to what it was... ?????????
The question was testing the "ck" combination at the end of words... the other words were the likes of "duck"... the word it was supposed to be was "tuck"... the "T" and the "F" letters got mixed up.... oh dear.. not good for the kids.. and not good that a customer found it and not good that there are over 10,000 cd's out there in Texas... good that we got to fix it on line pretty fast in the online version, have a download available to fix the disk.. but if they have to replace all those disks due to 1 letter in 1 word in 1 out of 10,000 questions.. ahhhhhhhhhhh.....

anyway thats why I missed the gym... and was pissed off I missed the gym.. so will try and get up and go in the morning instead.

anon.. A
so I am trying to get fit again... and this time I think I have a shot at it lasting a bit longer.  The having the food delivered and all portion and calorie controlled is the best thing I ever did!! All the hassle and thought is gone out of wondering what to eat and the food is all really tasty... its a win win.. energy is up, gym has become easy again.. and I have been able to pick up all the exercises I did in Spain last year and transport them to a good routine here in my gym (eventually, it only took me the year!!) So its about 9lbs in 4 weeks.. not too bad.. and I had not gained back the weight lost in Spain so it was not so bad after all.  So, Jen's sister's wedding in November.. that is what there is to look forward to.. and to be going shopping for... should be down at least another 1/2 stone by then....  I really do think that I might be able to make this work this time.. it does feel less like a diet and more like a lifestyle choice... I still get to do what I want at the weekend, or out of a week night if I want, cos the gym is helping with the balance.. Am using only the proper electronic scales in the gym as my guide.. so the girl does the weigh in on a Saturday.. and since I have been combining the food with the diet. it has been 2lbs each week for 3 weeks... and that was a couple of weeks in... So I hope to keep it going now...

The other things to do..
fix up the personal brand statements....

will check back in again when I get a chance... think I might get into this typing stuff down lark!!

I do miss writing....

Ok, so need to practice the blogging thing by the time I get to South Africa.. so here we go..

Got to bed about 12.30 after packing last night... case full to the brim with too much of everything as usual... taxi called for 5.30.. alarm set for 5am...

lovely jubbly.. but woke out of a lovely deep sleep, quick shower and out the door to the taxi..
Arrived at airport about 6ish.. checked in ok and went to security.. but they sent me back because of my tennis racket.. so I said that was it, the universe is conspiring against me and I shouldn't go at all!! but I got it checked in and proceeded to the gate..

I fooled myself into thinking that I deserved some items in the duty free.. after all I AM going on a Fitness "holiday''.. so got some perfume and some nice body wash and moisturizer...

Headed to the gate and was just getting some fruit (start as you mean to continue!!) for breakfast when I was struck lightly by a stray newspaper.. and there was Mr Magee, all spruced up in a suit heading to London.. so we sat and had our breakfast and a chat and he kindly walked me to my gate.

Boarded and found myself getting into a free set of bulkhead seats.. getting pretty good at securing the good seats..

Had some tea and what I considered would probably be my last taste of butter or sugar in a while.. a nice white chocolate muffin..

then watched "the Hangover"... pretty funny, but there was just something bizarre about watching that particular movie at 7.30 in the morning!!!

So arrived in Spain... and now am too shattered to get to the good bits, just suffice to say that I can feel every muscle in my body starting to rebel.. and my stomach is doing a JL on the dinner portion- "that was a lovely starter.. what's for mains"... . so will have to do Day 1 part deux tomorrow..

nighty night..
